The last time I was in Lord & Taylor, they had a few pieces in 0X from Jones New York (I think). I do like Talbot's and have a huge outlet store nearby, so I'll have to check out the 12W. Of course, I forgot to tell you that my problem is compounded by the fact that I am also short. I know Talbot's also carries Women's Petite sizes (bless them), so they are probably my best option.
