Misook
My reaction when I first read about Misook was: Acrylic? Really? Why are people paying hundreds of dollars for ACRYLIC clothing?
But then I “met” my first piece of Misook and understood. As Misook claims: it really does have the look and feel of a silk knit. It really is remarkably wrinkle resistant and it really can be machine washed! Also, every month Misook introduces new styles and/or colors and with black as a base your Misook pieces can be mixed and matched year after year and season after season.
Sophistication, Comfort and (again) Machine Washable! The savings on dry-cleaning eventually pays for the piece!
Come the end of January / Beginning of February 2010 14to24w.com will be carrying a larger selection of Misook at discounts ranging from 40-60% OFF – if you’d like to be notified when their first shipment arrives simply leave a comment on this page (scroll down to reach the comment section – your comment will not be made public) and I will e-mail you personally to let you know.
Until then: while Misook Plus Size has been lacking at Nordstrom since their Anniversary Sale last August but they do have some styles:
$200.00 - $270.00
$35.00 - $37.00
Another option for Misook Plus Size is Dillard’s – they mainly carry plain basics:
Barrie Pace used to also have a very good selection but their recent new arrivals have only come in Missy sizes and searching their site for Misook Plus Size has become an exercise in frustration: you search their site and chose Plus (Women’s) sizes and styles come up that are only available in Missy and/or Petite
