Carmen Marc Valvo lauched his line in 1989 – in fall 2005 Valvo’s line was featured in Time magazine where he was lauded for seeming to design for the marketplace as opposed to other designers who seem to design just to shock.  If you’ve ever seen some of the outrageous fashions paraded down the runways no doubt you will concur with Time’s writers and appreciate Valvo and his timeless, classic and elegant fashions.

With Sunny Choi’s line being discontinued the Carmen Marc Valvo Woman line stands as one of the few upscale evening wear choices for the plus size woman. It’s a shame that Saks doesn’t seem to carry it in the Salon Z section of their site anymore – at the present time only Neiman Marcus has Carmen Marc Valvo in plus size and a very limited selection at that (Click Any Image To View Or Buy):
