Karen Kane, a brand that used to be quite popular and had a presence in a lot of Department Stores I can now only find online at Dillard’s and they recently got in some new Karen Kane plus size styles for spring/summer. I’m not really in love with any of it but this one silk chiffon top ($118) did catch my eye:

First of all I would like to apologize once again for ignoring the site for the last 2+ months but I am slowing getting my act back together and will be posting and answering your comments 
Without going into too much information and boring you all – I was having major problems with my pancreas but it seems like I have a handle on it now and I only have occasional pain instead of I want to shoot myself in the head pain that lasts for several straight days.
So . . . let’s do a brief recap on what has happened in the online world of plus size shopping since I’ve been gone. All of this is current as of now but is subject to change of course, because let’s face it: what exactly can the plus size shopper count on these days?
The Good:
1) Elie Tahari is doing a plus size bridge line – WOHOO!!!!! There isn’t much that has totally wowed me as of yet but it is early and I hold out MUCHO HOPE! So far it seems they’re going to skew a bit younger and be more like Lafatyette 148 than the late GREAT Ellen Tracy plus size bridge line but again, I am hopeful!
As of now you can buy the Elie Tahari plus size line at: Bloomingdale’s and Saks
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE if you can buy some pieces you like at full price if possible as that is what will keep the line around because as many of you may know great plus size bridge lines from the past disappeared (like the DKNY plus size line not to mistaken for the new mostly awful DKNYC plus size line) because not enough of it sold at full retail.
2) Misook has their own retail site now: www.Misook.com
3) Bloomingdale’s is now carrying Lafayette 148 plus size so if they think they can move a high priced plus size line on line that bodes well overall methinks 
The Bad:
1) Neiman Marcus doesn’t seem to be carrying Anna Scholz anymore 
They used to carry a lot of styles and most sizes made it to Neiman’s 65% OFF Markdown – I guess that’s why they aren’t carrying it anymore
BUT, you can still get Anna in the US from the lovely ladies at La Grande Dame and Saks
2) It seems like Dillard’s brief flirtation with carrying Caroline Rose has come to an end as Neiman’s has received new styles but there are no new Caroline Rose arrivals to be be found at Dillard’s
3) There wasn’t been a lot of good stuff on sale while I was gone mainly because most of the winter sale goodies were sold out around the end of Feb. and it was way too early to start marking down spring BUT I’m sure markdowns ARE coming as Saks just marked down a fair amount of plus size styles! I’ll be doing a separate post about that.
